In September 2010 The Document Foundation was initiated to create a foundation for the OpenOffice.org project. Now, 6 months later, we have already seen the third stable release of LibreOffice. Huh, LibreOffice ... What about OpenOffice.org, are the two split, or do they try to cooperate? What can users and sponsors off, and participants in free software expect in the product, the community?
Cor Nouws has been active in OpenOffice.org community since 2004, has been member of the Community Council and is one of the founding members of The Document Foundation.
